Industrial Connectivity
Powerful DataLinks for Seamless System Communication
DataLinks provide the communication channels between CONNECT and the
devices, applications, databases, and systems that support your operations. Each
DataLink is designed to enable reliable data exchange with specific
technologies, protocols, or software platforms. The following DataLinks are
included with CONNECT. Additional DataLinks are also available to support a
broader range of integration requirements.
Allen-Bradley
Communicate directly with Allen-Bradley PLCs without the need for a 3rd party OPC server.
Annunciation
Generate audio output, including text-to-speech, through the PC's speakers or a compatible VoiP system.
Collection DataLink
Allows the creation of, and reading from, an internal collection of values. When used in combination with other DataLinks, this simplifies implementation of round-robin style data collection systems
Database
Enables connectivity to a wide variety of database platforms, including Oracle, MySQL Server, Microsoft Access and Excel or any ODBC or OLE DB compliant database.
.NET
Provides an interface to call methods or read and write properties from or to any Microsoft.net assembly.
Ethernet/Serial
Allows the configuration of a flexible Ethernet or serial communication protocol for sending and receiving data from or to a remote device or application. This DataLink is configured manually, specifying the packet parameters for both incoming and outgoing data.
File Processing
Enables reading and writing to files on the local operating system or a network storage drive. Process files can then be archived or deleted.
File Transfer
Handles file management tasks, like copying files, deleting files or downloading files via FTP.
IBM
WebSphere MQ
Makes it possible to interact with IBM's Websphere MQ software package, reading and writing data to and from the queues as needed.
Sends and receives emails from any SMTP, POP, MAPI, or IMAP compliant email server. This includes web hosted services such as Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook.com.

Message Queuing
Create the interface to Microsoft's Message Queueing (MSMQ) application, making it possible to read and write data between MSMQ and CONNECT
Modbus
Allows communication with Modbus based on devices, including a variety of popular industrial PLCs across a range of brands.
